Unlike footwear for normal conditions, in polar regions it is essential that the boots can be taken on and off easily with gloved hands. That is why many of our boots can be secured with either a single or double buckle.
When creating footwear for unique applications we go beyond what is customary from other manufacturers. For instance on the Pivot in the Powersport series the innovative Boa wiring system is placed on the back of the boot where it is out of the way and it is easy to adjust on the fly.
Getting footwear on and off easily is not only useful at the poles, it is also convenient at home. We have designed our Cabin and Winter Solo series so most of them can be kicked on and off easily - you don't need to bend down, saving energy.
