The few drawbacks of the Apex November 3, 2012
Reviewer: Dr Malcolm Arnold from Magdalena, NM USA(Mawson Station, Antarctica)
Gentlemen: I have bought several of these over years for use in Antarctica. The pulley lacing system is the best in your line. The insulation is good and the sole rubber formulation shows good ice grip. The one drawback is the lack of a snow-cuff. I (and my Antarctic colleagues) would very much like to see an all black, very slightly taller version with a fastenable snow cuff as in your other models.

name fits perfect October 28, 2012
Reviewer: john doe from canada
these boots are quite literally the GREATEST BOOTS EVER! i work at an internationally well known hunting and outdoors store. many consider me to be the top guy when it comes to judging what footwear/clothing performs best. from years of testing, researching and product development of my own, i have come to the conclusion that these boots are untouchable, save for electrically aided boots. no other boot provides the combination of weight, warmth, moisture management, and all out performance like these do.

if you can't afford them, thats alright, baffin has other high level winter performance boots available. if you can, you have no excuse. buy them now.

Boots for the coldest place on Earth September 5, 2012
Reviewer: James Reaves from South Pole, Antarctica
The United States Antarctic Program bought some of these boots to test at the South Pole, Antarctica, and I was given a pair last winter.  I really liked them and although the rest of my extremities frequently got cold in the -80F to -103F temperatures, my feet almost never did.  These boots were great and should keep anyone's feet warm in any conditions.  My only complaint is that they are heavier than some of Baffin's newer extreme cold weather boots. It's hard enough at the SP without carrying extra pounds on your feet.  If I go back to the SP in a future winter I want Baffins again, but I am going to give the newer, lighter weight designs a try.

Now thats a boot December 27, 2010
Reviewer: Bob Lype from Bettles, Alaska
I work Outside in extreme temps for hours on end I have tried differnt combos but this hit the nail on the head, Iam out side for 10 to 12 hours a day and 60 below is nothing unusal and my feet are toasty. I may be on a snow machine or just walking but these boots have the support I need, for those others that have been where I work know the drill, warmth and comfort dont come to gether. Well here not even an issue you wont want to take them off.

Last pair of winter boots you will ever buy! December 16, 2010
Reviewer: Jesse Sauve from MN,USA
Forget about any other boot that says it's designed for arctic winter conditions and buy these. I have owned all kinds of boots and these are superior in durability, warmth, and comfort over them all. Worth spending a little more once, then  ever needing to buy boots again. Buy them you will not regret it.
