Exceeds expectations! July 6, 2017
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from San Francisco
I wore these boots on a snow shoeing trip to Antarctica in November 2015.  They held up to wet landings in the zodiac, treks through deep snow, and snow shoeing up glaciers (and back down).  Unlike one other review, I find them very comfortable to walk in -- in fact, the boots encourage you to take powerful strides.  Love these boots!  Can't wait for another trip to cold climes to wear them again.

Wow July 6, 2017
Reviewer: Yvonne from Maine
Been ice fishing for many years and I finally found a pair of boots that keep my feet toasty warm!  They are easy to slip in/out of and the cinch string at the top keeps snow from filling the boot.  I will never buy any other boot. Very much worth the price if you spend time enjoying the winter like I do.

Amazing! July 6, 2017
Reviewer: Nadia from Washington
I loved these shoes!!! Took them to the arctic with temps going below -60F. My feet were the happiest from our whole team :-) I appreciate the inventor of these boots!!!!  The well built layers of insulation made my toes feel like 10 friends out on a camping trip! :-) The boots are somewhat heavy. But easy to get used to. One hiking trip will be enough to fall in love with these..

excellent for Greenland ice sheet. July 6, 2017
Reviewer: Aleah from Greenland ice sheet
I wore these boots for several weeks this spring, camping for several weeks in the interior of the Greenland ice sheet.  I get cold very easily, and they kept my feet nice and comfortable (with the exception of a few particularly chilly mornings around -30C when I needed hand warmers inside them).

The removable liners are key - I took them out each night to de-ice and keep them warm in my sleeping bag.  I also switched out the liners every day or two with a spare pair to let them fully dry out/sublimate (I highly recommend bringing an extra liner if you'll be out camping for several days or weeks).  The liners are quite easy to pull out and put back in.

The adjustable clips and drawstring are great - easy to handle even with cold hands.  I also found I could wear a variety of socks and still get a nice fit (ranging from just a silk liner sock to a few pairs of thick wool socks).

Overall, these boots are just incredible for Arctic research.  Thank you, Baffin!

Use of the impact boots. July 6, 2017
Reviewer: Geoffrey Hargreaves from Denver, CO United States
We work in freezers at -36°C and -24°C regularly.
The boots are nice a warm.
In the beginning the liners are very snug and we can only wear them for a short time. Hoping they will break in fairly quickly.
