BAFFIN – REAL-ROAD TESTED WITH Arkells x BAFFIN CONTEST

Standard data rates apply to participants who choose to participate in the Contest via a mobile device. Please contact your service provider for pricing and service plan information and rates before mobile device participation.

 

KEY DATES:

The Baffin – Real-Road Tested™ with Arkells Contest (the “Contest”) begins at 2:00 PM ET on May 5, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM ET following the final Toronto contest post (the “Contest Period”).

The Contest consists of multiple entry periods (each, a “City Entry Period”) corresponding to the following cities:

  • Vancouver
  • Edmonton
  • Calgary
  • Toronto (Grand Prize)

Entry dates for each City Entry Period will be communicated via official Instagram posts on @BaffinWorldwide and/or @ArkellsMusic. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify timing in its sole and absolute discretion.

 

ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER:

The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Québec) who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence at the time of entry.

Employees, representatives or agents (and those with whom such persons are domiciled, whether related or not) of Baffin Limited (the “Sponsor”), Arkells, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, prize suppliers, advertising/promotion agencies and any other individual(s), entity or entities involved in the development, production, implementation, administration or fulfillment of the Contest (collectively, the “Contest Parties”) are not eligible.

 

AGREEMENT TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY RULES:

By participating in this Contest, you are signifying your agreement that you have read and agree to be legally bound by these Official Rules and Regulations (the “Rules”).

 

INSTAGRAM NOT INVOLVED:

The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Instagram (the “Social Platform”). The Social Platform is hereby completely released of all liability by each entrant. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to the Sponsor and not to Instagram.

You may only use one (1) Instagram account (the “Account”) to participate in this Contest.

 

 

HOW TO ENTER:

No purchase necessary. MAKING A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE OR OTHERWISE IMPACT YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

To enter, each entrant must:

  • Have a valid Instagram account
  • Follow @BaffinWorldwide and @ArkellsMusic
  • Comment on the applicable contest post with their dream Arkells x Baffin destination and activity

Each Instagram post corresponds to a specific City Entry Period and serves as the only valid entry point for that city.

MULTIPLE ENTRIES ACCEPTED ON CONTEST POST.

Entries must be submitted during the applicable City Entry Period to be eligible.

 

ENTRY CONDITIONS:

All Entries must be submitted and received in accordance with these Rules during the applicable City Entry Period.

Entries will be declared invalid if they are late, incomplete, irregular, forged, garbled or not in compliance with these Rules.

If it is discovered that any person has attempted to:
(i) obtain more than the permitted number of Entries; and/or
(ii) use multiple accounts, identities, automated systems or any other means not in keeping with the spirit of the Contest;

then such entrant may be disqualified in the sole and absolute discretion of the Sponsor.

The Contest Parties are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, delayed or incomplete Entries.

 

VERIFICATION:

All Entries, entrants and Entry Materials are subject to verification at any time.

The Sponsor reserves the right to require proof of identity and/or eligibility (including government-issued identification) in a form acceptable to the Sponsor.

Failure to provide such proof within the timeline specified by the Sponsor may result in disqualification.

 

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

By entering, each entrant represents and warrants that their Entry:

  • Is original
  • Does not violate any law or third-party rights
  • Does not contain offensive, inappropriate or unlawful content

The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any Entry that does not comply with these Rules.

 

LICENSE:

By entering the Contest, each entrant grants to the Sponsor a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, publish and display their Entry (including username and content) for promotional purposes without further compensation.

Entrants waive all moral rights in favour of the Sponsor.

 

PRIZES:

CITY PRIZES (VANCOUVER, EDMONTON, CALGARY):

  • Three (3) winners per city (one per show)
  • Each winner will receive:
    • Two (2) tickets to an Arkells show in the applicable city
    • One (1) Baffin prize pack (approximate retail value: $500 CAD)

TORONTO GRAND PRIZE:

  • One (1) winner
  • Prize includes:
    • Two (two) tickets to all three (3)Toronto shows
    • Round-trip transportation (method determined by Sponsor)
    • Hotel accommodations (double occupancy)
    • One (1) Baffin prize pack (approximate retail value: $2,000 CAD)
    • Arkells merchandise
    • Meet-and-greet experience (subject to availability)

 

PRIZE CONDITIONS:

Without limiting the generality of the foregoing:

  • Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable or convertible to cash
  • Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value
  • Travel arrangements are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor
  • All costs not expressly stated (including meals, insurance, incidentals) are the responsibility of the winner
  • Meet-and-greet is subject to availability and may be modified or cancelled

The winner and guest must:

  • Travel on the same itinerary
  • Sign required releases
  • Comply with all venue, travel and safety requirements

The Sponsor is not responsible for cancellations, delays or changes to tour dates.

 

ELIGIBLE WINNER SELECTION PROCESS:

Winners will be selected by random draw following each City Entry Period from among all eligible Entries.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received.

 

ELIGIBLE WINNER NOTIFICATION PROCESS:

Selected entrants will be contacted via Instagram direct message from @BaffinWorldwide.

Selected entrants must respond within within the stipulated time outlined in the post and/or stories or may be disqualified.

The Sponsor reserves the right to select an alternate entrant if necessary.

 

ELIGIBLE WINNER CONFIRMATION PROCESS:

No entrant is a winner until confirmed by the Sponsor.

Each selected entrant must:

  • Correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question (for Canadian residents)
  • Sign and return a declaration and release form within the required timeframe
  • Confirm eligibility and acceptance of the prize

Failure to comply will result in disqualification.

 

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend or modify the Contest at any time if required.

The Contest is subject to all applicable laws.

The Sponsor is not responsible for:

  • Technical failures
  • Lost or misdirected entries
  • Incorrect winner identification
  • Any issues beyond its control

Any attempt to undermine the Contest may result in disqualification and legal action.

 

PRIVACY:

By entering, entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information for Contest administration in accordance with Baffin’s Privacy Policy.

 

GOVERNING LAW:

The Contest is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
