These are the best boots I've ever owned. They are actually toasty warm at -50°C and can stand up to a one-hour walk at that temperature wearing only super thin summer socks. The fit is snug (snuggly and soft), yet oddly accommodating of my bunion, and they make me forget I have a Morton's neuroma - in other words, extremely comfortable. The fit is snug - order bigger than whatever size you usually wear. This is my second winter with these boots and the aforementioned 1 hour walk to and from work every day, and my boots look pretty much new. They absolutely stand up to a Saskatchewan winter (which is often -40°C to -50°C for weeks on end). If you live in climate zone 2 or colder and you like to be active in winter, these comfy boots are for you. The boot goes up between my mid calf and knee. It can't really compete with a Saskatchewan snow drift, but I have snowpants for that. The coldest I was ever out with them was -53°C with a -60°C windchill. Everything was cold... except my toasty warm feet. In short, they are comfortable, breathable, durable, and the only boots I've ever worn that are actually toasty at their coldest temperature rating.
